The GPS Sport project is organized by initiative group of dynamic people.
GPS Sport site is created for support and assistance in development of the new king of sports - Sport Satellite Navigation (SSN)
Sport Satellite Navigation (SSN) is the young and perspective kind of sports based on the search for control points (CP)
using GPS-receiver (geographical coordinates of CP's are known in advance). CP's are hidden on the land and aren't marked on the map.
Creation of SSN as a new kind of sports became possible owing to creation of the world system of the satellite navigation called GPS
Owner of the GPS-receiver can obtain his coordinates and direction to any point with known coordinates. Since 2000 obtaining coordinates to within several meters has turned into reality.
Anyone can take part in competitions on SSN. There would be a desire to run or pass the distance on bicycle and certainly a gps-receiver.
